Cricut Access is a monthly or yearly subscription that gives you tons of perks as a Cricut shopper and user. Members are given access to a huge collection of images, fonts, and projects in the Design Space library (with more being added regularly). Access members also receive extra savings on purchases from Cricut.com.

With a Cricut Access subscription, you get unlimited use of a growing library of beautiful fonts, images & projects in Design Space®. In addition, you get exclusive savings when you shop Cricut products on cricut.com. From time to time, you'll also notice subscriber-only features that help simplify your design process.

Cricut Access is a great money and time saver for frequent crafters. If you like using different images and fonts, especially licensed images and projects, you'll find Cricut Access to be a good addition to your crafting. It also saves you time since you don't have to scour the internet looking for images or fonts.

Cricut Design Space itself is free and you do not need to pay the monthly subscription. However, many people find it frustrating some of the projects and images on Cricut Design Space cost money. There ARE some free Cricut fonts and images that can be a great place to start.

Yes, you can use Cricut Access images for personal gifts, products you use yourself, or items you give away for free. The selling and mass production restrictions only apply if you run a business selling Cricut-made products.

Tip: When purchasing a project, you're actually purchasing the resources (images, fonts, or patterns) that are used in the project. That content is activated on your account permanently, and may be used in other projects without additional charge.

Each week Cricut make around 1,000 images in Design Space free for the week. You can find these under Highlighted Categories. Click on Free, to discover the selection of images that have been chosen for that period. Remember that if you use these images in projects after the free week is up, you may be charged.

How can I access that free trial now? If you want to sign-up for your free trial of Cricut Access: Go to Design Space, design.cricut.com. Once you're logged in, click on “Cricut Access” from category drop-down (located on the left-hand side navigation of Design Space).

You can even upload your own artwork. When you upload your image you will have the option to save it as a cut image (it will cut around the outside of the design) or as a Print Then Cut Image, meaning you can print out the image first and then cut around the outside (Maker and Explore machines only).

Do you need a printer to use a Cricut? ›

Cricut is a cutting machine. If your plans are only to cut paper, vinyl and other materials, you do not need a printer. However, you will need a printer to print and cut your stickers, boxes, cards, and designs.

Cricut Access images are only free to use whilst you have an active Cricut Access subscription. Open up a new project, then head to images in Cricut Design Space. You'll find this in the left-hand bar in the Desktop version or in the tool bar at the bottom of your screen on the app.

Cricut Access requires one to subscribe to a plan, while the design space does not need a plan. Cricut Design Space is a platform where you can make a design, and Cricut Access is when you make the plan to use additional designs and features on the Cricut Design app.

If you cancel your Cricut Access plan, you will retain ALL your projects, as well as your top 5 most-populated Collections. To search or browse your entire personal library of projects, go to All My Projects. If you re-instate your Cricut Access plan, your previously created Collections will re-activate.
